Program Highlights

Speed and Agility Development

Preparation:

  • Master the "ABCs" of movement efficiency: Agility, Balance, and Control.
  • Focus on sprint mechanics and foundational movement skills.

Movement Mechanics:

  • Footwork circuits to enhance coordination.
  • Reactive agility drills to sharpen response times.
  • Multi-directional movement stations to build versatility.
  • Acceleration and deceleration training for explosive starts and controlled stops.

Strength Training for Young Athletes

  • Training is tailored for ages 8-11, emphasizing safe, effective methods using resistance bands and body weight—no axial loading (no bars on the back or spine compression).
  • Progressively increase volume each week within 4-week training blocks.
